Filing Fees

No need to print this. 

Every candidate pays a filing fee when filing for office. County and township candidates pay the RPBC.

State-level candidates file with and pay the RPA, not the RPBC.

Candidate Filing Info - 2022

Filing for county and township offices will begin at noon on February 22 and end at noon on March 1.

 

Candidates may file at the Benton County Administration Building in the QC Room on the third floor, 215 East Central Avenue, Bentonville. A member of the local Republican Party will be present to accept candidates’ filing fees and provide appropriate forms on the following dates and times:

February 22, noon-4:00 pm

February 23-25 & 28, 10:30 am – 1:30 pm

March 1, 9:00 am-noon.

 

Candidates may also file at the meeting of the Republican Party of Benton County on Tuesday, February 22 from 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm, located at Rogers New Hope Assembly of God, 2626 West New Hope Road.

 

After filing with the county Republican Party, candidates must provide written evidence of filing fee payment and additional paperwork to the Benton County Clerk before noon on March 1.

The preferential primary is May 24, 2022.
